An indicator is a piece of information that, together with others and following the instructions of a method, helps measure the state and evolution of activities and processes according to objetive criteria. It can be expressed in quantitative or qualitative terms and is the result of the gathering and treatment of certain data according to specific and well known instructions.

Between 29 and 30 September it has been realized the conference “Traditional Salt –Route of the Atlantic” at Larache Multidisciplinary Faculty in Morocco.  Besides university researchers, several elements related to production sector, local and regional administration and tourism organizations have attended to this conference.

The project ECOSAL ATLANTIS has one year of implementation, during which some results were achieved.

To AASI (Association of the friends of the salt marshes of interior), is it developing a battery of indicators that will permit to evaluate the potential of each in terms of eco-tourism.

The recognition of the brand and of the logo "Traditional Salt Route of the Atlantic" " is the first step in establishing the Route, as they give body to a visual and corporate identity to the Route. 
The recognition process with the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, is already completed and approved for the Spanish name
In Portugal the trial is already in public consultation, for approval

The municipality of Aveiro developed a questionnaire that is being filled by the project partners.

This questionnaire addresses issues of territory, production and management of the sites and also aspects related to the tourism and heritage. With these data those responsible will be in conditions of design an adequate training program.

The purpose of the press kit is to provide texts and stories that can be used directly by the press through documents in Word format.
